I enjoyed my time in the Shawano School District despite it's flaws. The teachers were well qualified and I learned well from them. I wish there was more college preparation including higher level AP or college courses so that students could enter college with more credits.

SCHS was not well known for neither its academics or athletics, because well frankly both were very sub-par... I made great friends, but at the same time bullying was a chronic problem. The school was clean and the administration really cared about their students, so that was a plus.

Overall, it was a good experience filled with many extra-curricular opportunities in clubs, theatre, sports, music, etc. I had some of my most valuable learning experiences from some phenomenal teachers. My thinking was pushed and has propelled me toward academic excellence in my current college education.

My family moved from a big city to a small town. When our Kids transferred, all the teachers were kind, and the whole village and school were like a family. Rather, I felt safer because I could easily observe children's activities and education than a very large school. It's easy to access exercise...

This school does the bare minimum, with no programs or systems in place to help transgender students. If you're transgender you will be treated poorly by students, teachers, and staff of this school.

My children for the most part excelled, in everything but mathematics. The teachers are far to rigid in their methods with very poor people skills. Otherwise they were challenged and learning with very little problems.

My school is struggling to survive. Staff morale is literally negative. Pay is mediocre. Kids, like all kids, are great.
