Hi my name is Zach I moved and enrolled in Shelbyville high school 2023-2024 as a senior. I felt excepted everyone was really nice I made friends easily. I give my senior year at Shelbyville a 5 out of 5, I was in band since 6th grade, joined here also I not only play my trumpet but learned and own a guitar. I also learned to play the flute and played in a three person ensemble at our musical.

I didn't like how they stopped allowing us to carry our stuff around in backpacks. Other than that, I had a good experience in high school.

Shelbyville High School is a great place to attend in terms of academics, but the faculty and staff could use a lot of work. There are a few teachers who just expect you to know what you're doing instead of teaching the class to you. The principal will take away any privileges that he deems as fun because he doesn't believe that we deserve them. We've lost a lot since he's become principal, and it's really upsetting. He never gives us satisfactory reasons as to why he takes these things away.
