GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Going to Show Low High School has been an... interesting experience to say the least. What I liked most about the school is how much the staff and teachers actually care about their students at the school and are always willing to help. What I liked least was all of the problems with the school's infrastructure, the gym floor flooded 3 times in the same year and we haven't had carpet since my freshmen year, 4 years ago, and the restrooms are always in a state of either chaos or desolation.

I enjoyed the teachers dedication to our well being and I really enjoyed having a robotics class with the best mentor I could have. While there is a wonderful music program, the school neglects to give the programs proper funding making it difficult to replace or repair instruments that desperately need it. All in all, decent school. Could be worse.

I have had a good high school experience. I was able to receive lots of college credit while in high school which was very helpful. I would like there to be even more opportunities to get college credits while in high school.
