I've had a very good time at St. John's. They are definitely an athletic school, but the academics and music/art courses are very good. The teachers, overall, are great, and many are very passionate about the subjects they teach, on top of always being willing to help or talk to the students.

I had a great experience at Saint John's. The academics are tough, but recent graduates have told me they were very prepared for college. I played two sports and it was a great experience. I made a lot of friends and developed great relationships with my teachers. The alumni network is incredible and I always felt supported at school. I think they could relax the dress code a bit, but that's probably my only complaint.

St John's prepared me poorly for college. I did not learn how to write a decent essay at SJ, despite being in supposedly "upper level" English classes. I had a fantastic experience attending Saint John's. I graduated in 2013 and many of the things I learned I am now applying to my full-time job and are helping me to succeed in the professional world.
