Overall, I've had a pleasant high school experience at Jordan-Matthews. While certain areas are lacking, such as school culture and facilities, extracurriculars and electives make up for it.

I have enjoyed my time at JMHS, but am ready to broaden my horizons. JMHS has provided me with preparation for college and has encouraged we to challenge myself (i.e. take more advanced classes). The Dual Language program is also very prominent at our school and has offered me the opportunity to display my competency in two languages (English and Spanish).

Child has been challenged by teachers in all honor classes, clubs, and sports. The teachers there are invested in their students and really care about their futures.

I researched long and hard looking for the best high school in an affordable quiet area of NC with a comfortable commute to work. JMHS kept coming up on the list. Rated in the top 15 by US News in NC for the past couple of years and winning awards. The staff is professional, friendly, and not jaded...
