As one of six elementary schools within the Cuyahoga Falls City school district, Silver Lake Elementary School serves roughly 200 students from kindergarten through fifth grade who come from the village of Silver Lake and nearby neighborhoods. Students who attend Silver Lake go on to attend either Bolich or Roberts Middle School and then Cuyahoga Falls High School.
Silver Lake students have access to many unique programs, services, and extracurriculars that make the school an appealing place for students. Services such as family support, counseling, transportation, free Chromebooks for all students, and more help make Silver Lake Elementary a welcoming place for all students regardless of their background or abilities.
Silver Lake ranks relatively high compared to other elementary schools in the area. In fact, the Ohio School Report Card system gave it an overall grade of “B” according to the most recent assessment, with “C” grades in the achievement and progress components. It earned an “A” grade in gap closing, indicating that it’s working to close learning gaps among its most vulnerable students.
The Silver Lake Elementary campus is located just a block away from Silver Lake and features an onsite sports complex with a large field and playground.

My oldest son is in 5th grade at SLE and I have 3 more kids to go! I absolutely love this Elementary! The teachers and staff are all amazing and really work with each child and their abilities so everyone succeeds! We couldn't ask for a better school for our children to learn in and develop their educational skills!
