GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Our school as a whole is very poor and while our teachers write a lot of grants to get funding the students suffer at the hands of teachers will little to no experience, poor learning materials, bad internet and computers. She staff was always friendly and I personally received a lot of help from teachers. we also had a well funded agriculture program which has set me on my current path.

We have a good school. There are no gangs and the bullying is pretty mild. I don't bully I stand against that and cyber bullying has happened before but it was taken care of. We have had one kid make an empty death threat and he got expelled.

The food is ... ok. But I don't eat school lunches, I usually bring my own. It is kind of healthy, I know the cooks try to serve a lot of healthy choices. but I would advise bringing your own lunch.

North Lake is an awesome hidden jewel in Oregon. The teachers and staff have a genuine enthusiasm for the kids and their education. You could not get a better overall support system in any other school. They are up to date with technology, and the kids love to go to school. Students that go here are...

MY CHILD IS BEING WITHDRAWN BECAUSE THE PRINCIPAL AND STAFF ARE NOT DOING THEIR JOB AND EDUCATING THE CHILDREN. THIS SCHOOL NEEDS TO GET THEIR ACT TOGETHER SERIOUSLY OR MORE PARENTS WILL START PULLING THEIR CHILDREN OUT BECAUSE THE EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM HERE IS NOT UP TO PAR. THIS SCHOOL REALLY NEEDS A...

This school does nothing for kids entering the real world. The leadership is poor and enables children with bad behavior. The teachers all do their own thing and are not held to rigorous standards. The schoolboard is more concerned with sports than with academics.
