My experience at Francis Scott Key Middle School has been all over the place. I am currently an 8th grader at Francis Scott Key. My experience has had its highs and lows. Racism and not feeling included has been my biggest problems here in this school. Students here have a tendency to be very racist towards each other and there is little to none repercussions to these actions. Teachers here tend to have favorites that can basically evade the rules and act however they want. Students can get out of control and face no consequences at all. All these things make Francis Scott Key a hassle to manage. However Francis Scott Key is very diverse. They are so many different people here and teachers that make my experience at this school great. I have found great friends of many different races that I can spend my time with. Making up for all the things I have endured while going to this school. Overall my experience at Francis Scott Key Middle School has had its ups and downs.

This school sucks. Never send your kid here unless you want your kid to be bullied and harassed by both students and teachers. This school sucks. The kids and teachers are horrible and students who get bullied don’t get any help from the consulars, the consulars are basically useless. There’s fights everyday, students are mean. DO NOT send your child to this school EVER. Unless you want your child to feel suicidal.

I was bullied and constantly harassed by other students for supporting lgbtq and I’ve spoken out about it to teachers and my counselor didn’t do anything about it.
