The school is very diverse, and there is a project lead the way program where students can explore their interests in bioscience, engineering, computer science, or the humanities. The school has fueled my interest in biomedical science and the community is very uplifting.

I would say my best parts concerning this school would be the advanced placement courses, the rigorous and challenging classes, having the ability to expand my knowledge in STEM, and my ability to advocate for myself. Some bad parts are the treatment of some of the teachers/coaches, inability to get some students serious about school, and more.

My experience was good in high school throughout the years since the environment was filled with good students and the teachers were very helpful. I haven't had any bad experiences here but what I would want to change is the amount of important information we get since we are not often told and it makes people lose opportunities.

I currently have an 18 year old (graduating senior) and a 16 year old (sophomore) at WHS. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this school! The teachers are extremely helpful and the faculty is very supportive. I would say that the school overall is good, and the teachers are good, but classes are a tad big. It’s about 20 a class.
