GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The experience went a little downhill as time went on, but overall it was a very fun experience. There's new rules being made that are a little silly but it makes things easier, I guess.

My experience with Silverton High School was great until Covid. The staff worked so hard to help make this a great educational experience. After Covid, we saw a huge decline in moral and staffing issues. Parental involvement was great - very well supported by the community. The sports program was top notch. I loved all my coaches and the all seemed very authentic in their support of the students and the quality of the sports.

My four years at silverton High school were good and bad. Overall I had an amazing time making friends l, had great teachers and staff and I loved the way teachers cared about every single student. There were ups and downs. But overall it was amazing.

I am a former student that attended Silverton High School, and I do NOT advise you to send your c...

It was overall terrible. The food is filled with chems and is very low quality. The arts are shunned and ignored by the school, and has a racist core within. Sure the sports are great, but that is because more funding goes into that than education itself.
