I have enjoyed being at Silverton High school. Some pros to being here is that we have good sports teams where most of them go to State and some even place or win state. We also participate in SkillsUSA where we had 18 people go to Nationals last year. The downside to this school is that we live in a rural town with likeminded people. This means we don't have much diversity in students, staff, or even in our library. It's very hard to not believe or think the same way that almost everyone else at this school does. We also have terrible school lunches because we have the same unhealthy slab of nachos every day.

I love the amount of respect the students give eachother and the community. We have a very inclusive setup at silverton and I enjoy walking into school and being greeted by staff and students.

My experience with Silverton High School was great until Covid. The staff worked so hard to help make this a great educational experience. After Covid, we saw a huge decline in moral and staffing issues. Parental involvement was great - very well supported by the community. The sports program was top notch. I loved all my coaches and the all seemed very authentic in their support of the students and the quality of the sports.

It was overall terrible. The food is filled with chems and is very low quality. The arts are shunned and ignored by the school, and has a racist core within. Sure the sports are great, but that is because more funding goes into that than education itself.

silverton high school is awesome!!! The school is not that big but i like it because we always have fun, and theres a lot of sports. The teachers are awesome, they always help you with your work and if you need help their always there for you...
