Both of my daughters received a very strong academic education as well as a diverse and enriching extracurricular and social experience. They were able to explore different interests in a supportive and encouraging environment and were extremely well prepared for college. Walker's set them on a successful path as learners and citizens.

I am a senior at Walkers and have genuinely adored my time here. In the past three years, I have been here, I have seen the school make a positive change led by students. The teachers encourage students to speak their minds and challenge them constantly. The biggest takeaway from this school is that I am a person before I am a woman. I am going into film and have learned a lot at Walkers. I am able to learn and use my voice without the patriarchy limiting me. When attending both pre-college programs, I am spoken over due to the fact that, socially, women are encouraged to not use their voice. Walkers has given me the tools to fight the walls that are put up around me as a queer women. I have grown in ways I don't think I ever would outside of here and I encourage all young girls + to attend walkers.

Ethel Walker definitely has prepared me well for college. Looking back at the experience, I am truly grateful for all the teachers and peers for shaping me into who I am today.

This is a school that is on its way up. Beautiful campus, ambitious academic program, loads of skilled teachers, deeply committed to social justice and equality, diverse students and teachers. A wonderful place to teach and to learn.

I think EWS is nice enough, though in retrospect I would not have chosen to attend here. I like most everything except the academics, which is unfortunate considering this is the quality from which I gauge the school's excellence. Simply put, EWS's culture of academic performance is one of mediocrit...
