Niles West high school is a public high school located in the suburbs near Chicago. It is a very diverse and large school. There are approximately 2,500 students. The best part of Niles West would be the clubs and sports teams which really make things very fun. The worst part would be that some teachers are very strict, or don't go over the topics thoroughly. I would like to see Niles West imporve.

School pool was renovated but not rebuilt for amazing athletes that attend and attended Niles West. This school needs top of the line pool for all the water activities for an amazing athletes they have. I hope that they will find someone to found this great school.

Niles West High School fosters a very diverse environment which allows students to learn much from each other. The academics are excellent and the school provides a wide variety of clubs and activities that students can choose from. The school spirit isn't the best, but the teachers are very nice.

My kid just started niles west this year..there are a lot of hallway fights all the time..boys hitting each other really really brutally. This school is alright, but Freshman Year is HE-double-hockey-sticks, so watch out 8th graders. luckily, 10th grade is epic.also Boys love to smoke in the boys bathrooms and they are usually dirty. same with it's sibling school Niles North.

I would most certainly not recommend this school. The principal is not present, does not respond to emails and lacks genuine compassion and concern for her students. Antwan Babakhani is equally unresponsive and when he is responsive, not very helpful. There is ZERO support for the social and emotion...
