One of the best parts about my experience at Skowhegan Area High School was all of the college courses I was able to take that were all paid for by the Somerset Career and Technical Center, which is connected to the High School. A bad experience for me was that some of the kids are not well monitored and are doing some things that are against the school rules while being at the school.

Skowhegan area high school to me is one of a kind school there are many different people and groups there so no matter what you have a place to connect and feel safe. The staff at skowhegan are one of a kind and will do anything in there power to make sure there students get what they need with there education and to make it so everyone feels welcome as soon as the step in. I am a graduate of the 2023 class and I never had a bad experience at Skowhegan in all my 4 years there. They got me the help I needed when I asked for it and got me to where I needed to be to walk across that stage and get my diploma.
