GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Educational program is pretty good. Most of the teachers seem to care. The district facilities in general a pretty worn down. There is a pretty high amount of bullying going on.

I love that there are so many activities related to the arts, such as choir, band, and theater. The instructors in these departments are very passionate about their students. Everyone is welcome into these departments, and I wish that more people would accept the welcoming. Something that I would like to see different is more of the faculty getting involved to exploit the talents of the students in such programs.

During my sophomore year, I got a severe concussion during gym class. Instead of the school helping me out, they tried covering up that the concussion was their fault and forced me to continue school with a brain injury. Teachers did not accommodate me nor did they support me. Once I recovered things got better. Class options are good but some of the teachers lack the ability to properly teach students.

There are some areas that could be improved upon such as the a ratio of required graduating credits. It is odd...

The teachers care about not only allowing the students to grow academically, but as good citizens in the community as well. The only way you have a negative experience at this school is if your children are disrespectful, and show no effort in the classroom. One down fall is the now constant influx...
