I've been going to pjp for a while, and have had an ok experience. i've learned a lot accidemically, but i don't have something to say about the faculty there. i love most of my teachers and most of them teach me well, but some not so much. i have had teachers who rely completely off of ai to teach, or just try to make the class hard to succeed in. the administration is so insanely strict, i've saw someone got written up over her feet being slid out her shoes (we have to wear very uncomfortable and easy to slide off and on penny loafers) they also do not discipline fairly at all. a girl i know will be leaving the school after this semester because she was being bullied so bad by a girl, and no discipline was done. some girls also broke into a home and the administration did nothing to discipline them. but then they will turn around and give saturday detentions (which can take you out of important groups like NHS/NJHS) to entire classes because of one thing someone said with 0 proof.

Pope John Paul is the best high school on the Northshore. I attended this school for five years. I made life long connections with friends and teachers. The school has prepared me for my future. I am a proud alum of Pope John Paul.
