In my experience at Slidell High, I think who you surround yourself with and how involved you get determines how enjoyable it is. I loved the sense of community and pride in the school. Something that could improve is the curriculum.

When first entering high school, I was afraid high school would be as bad as the movie, but my extra-curricular activities made everything better than I ever imagined. School is never "fun", but the diverse people and activities make it easier to come to school each day. I had very few good experiences with teachers, and behavior problems became more serious in senior year.
