My experience with Slocum High School has been wonderful. My family has been going to this small high school longer than anyone has known. This school has a very big family feel to it everyone knows everyone around here. In a time a need you won't need to ask for any help, you already have it.

I liked that they took getting your education very seriously. All of the teachers were there to help you learn and help prepare us for college and the world after High School. It was pretty hard at times but that's because they want us to be prepared and want us to learn and i love that.

Good teachers just not many opportunities. Good athletic program and amazing coaches. There is very few flavors when it comes to lunch and breakfast.
