I love the atmosphere and opportunities provided at Smackover High School. The teachers are great and really willing to help at anytime. I would love to see the cafeteria menu become better and more appealing

I think the school is okay for Academics & Sports but the teachers seem to favor the rich, popular group of kids rather than providing an education for every student enrolled. The town is the same way, either you are in the inclusive group or you are a nobody. I see this a common thread with small schools. Hopefully one day the school administrators will see this as well.

Smackover High School is your average rural high school. The administration and staff seem to connect with the student body in a way normally not seen in larger schools. The academic program seems to focus on STEM but has a great Agriculture program as well. Smackover also partners with a local and state college to offer students college hours at a fraction of the price. Smackover is a great school if your child is over whelmed by a larger school or if they are not receiving enough attention from the faculty.
