The school is a positive environment with encouraging teachers who have pushed me to challenge myself by taking rigorous classes.

My experience at Smithfield High School was amazing the teachers and staff care deeply about their students and their academic success. The only thing I would change is the communication with the administration, with the new administration and the new rules they put in place a lot of things were not communicated to the teaches and students, and they didn't really get to connect or get to know the students.

Smithfield is a great school district. We were welcomed into the community by the teaching staff and kids. There are many programs to take and guidance really helps the kids to be independent and follow their dreams. Very encouraging environment. My kids were reluctant to move to RI but are very happy and well adjusted in this community.

I'm a former SHS student and this school is a total joke. Their program for students with even the most minimal special needs is a complete waste of time. During my time at SHS getting even the most reasonable accommodations was like pulling teeth. But I digress, there is SO MUCH to cover regarding t...

To start this is easily a great school. The only problem is that the lack of funds to run a school of such size makes the school more and more outdated each year. Facilities like the athletic complex, auditorium, and gym are outdated while every student is getting a relatively useless chromebook. Th...

My daughter is currently enrolled in this school and I feel that it is grossly over-rated. They tell you that the teacher/student ratio is 10:1 and that is nothing but a bold faced lie. Her classes average 28 students with only one teacher on the class. My daughter had a question of one of the teach...
