Shiloh Middle School (Shiloh) is a public school serving approximately 1,800 sixth- through eighth-grade students with an average student-teacher ratio of 16-to-1. You’ll find Shiloh in Snellville, Georgia near Stone Mountain Highway, Stone Mountain Park and the Dekalb County line. The International Baccalaureate (IB) program at Shiloh presents a rigorous framework that assures global awareness and challenging assessments that align with Gwinnett County Public School policies. The goal of the IB program is to develop students into lifelong learners. Because Shiloh emphasizes academic support, General’s Time is held for 35 minutes at the end of each school day and is meant to help students improve their Attendance, Behavior and Course Performance (ABC), set goals, focus on academic interventions and improve literacy and numeracy skills. Help Day is offered each Wednesday and gives students the opportunity to work on Academic Knowledge and Skills, retake tests and make-up assignments. The Academic Assistance Program allows students to recover credits from classes failed during the first semester. Shiloh’s media center is designed to enhance student achievement as well as provide students with quality information, media and technology. The school offers several athletic programs such as basketball, cheerleading, volleyball and dance/step team. Shiloh also offers youth work permits for minors ages 14 and 15.

Overall it was a mediocre school with teachers sometimes having to prioritize between teaching or shouting at their students to stop misbehaving. I have found teachers who love their job but many students are disruptive, which leads to no students being educated.

There's nothing but vandalism, bullying, teachers having mental breakdowns every class, fights, and bad decisions from students. ok so i go here now and the school isn’t bad theteachers and administrators care but sometimes they can have a bad attitude sometimes but they hear you out at some points and the teachers are ok some teachers or cool and ok but some are mean if just depends what teacher you get and the school is VER...

This school does not have academics at the top of its list of priorities. Your student will have to ask 5 different people to find out whether or not he/ she won an award for the science fair, but yet the school's social media will repeatedly celebrate the sports teams making the playoffs.
