The teachers and staff at Social Circle Elementary School focus on developing the whole child, not only from an academic perspective but by helping children grow to be caring, productive citizens in the community. The school rewards good behavior and instills values in its students, setting them on a path to make better decisions throughout their lives. Social Circle Elementary, one of the Social Circle City Schools, has a diverse student body of over 350 students in third through fifth grades. Academically, the school focuses on a traditional curriculum that includes math, science, language arts, reading and social studies. Daily exploratory classes enrich the program, giving kids opportunities to discover interests. There are art and music classes for those with creative interests, STEM lab for young scientists and mathematicians, physical education for fitness, typing class to develop a skill that will be used for life and Spanish class to explore different cultures. Special classes are available to gifted students as well as children who need specialized assistance to succeed. Kids use technology to connect school and home to help enhance learning. The home of the Redskins, Social Circle Elementary gives children an excellent foundation for future success.

My child went through this school and through the entire school system. Truly, this school was by far his favorite (mine too)! He felt safe, challenged, and cared for here. This school is top-notch!

My son is in his firs year at this school . He and I both are extremely happy with the teachers, staff, principal, and how we are treated at functions. This school is why we love our little town and the sense of security it gives us.
