Souderton Area High School had an intense emphasis on college readiness and STEM programs during my time there. While this is an effective path for many students, there was certainly a tendency to treat artistic programs as hobbies or extracurriculars rather than actual careers. Students with ambitions in these fields will feel underserviced, though there are many resources available for them.

SAHS has been a wonderful school for my children. Great academics and great teachers. The music department is well above what I have seen at other schools. Althetics is amazing, Cross Country/Track and Field in particular. Only thing I would change would be the cafeteria food options. Not good.

I liked it overall. Majority of teachers made the content enjoyable to learn and taught a lot. It was not too stressful to complete schoolwork. The only issues I had were with students. Sometimes they would misbehave, but otherwise everything was pretty good

It’s a nice environment, teachers are always helping student out, making sure they understand. A lot of fights sometimes happen as well, but they’re always taken care of quickly.
