Supportive teachers, strong dual credit options, and a diverse community made SGP a great experience.

My experience in South Grand Prairie High School has been one of the greatest experiences I've had in high school and I'm deeply saddened that I get to leave in just a couple of months. I'm in the SGP Band and I've there since my freshman year and has made me connect and realize that a program can help you a lot mentally and socially. It was a very great experience that I wouldn't change for the world. I hope other people who will enter the upcoming will see that too.

It was a great school with a lot of opportunities. There was a chance to do early college which makes students graduate with an associated degree, that helps a lot. The teachers were intentional and the best. School food could have been better but it wasn't the worst.

"We have a desk phone" No. We need to have direct access to our parents if we ever need it, not just teachers. And the metal de...

Currently, I am a sophomore right now, and South has become increasingly worse as time has gone on. We have metal detectors at the front doors of both main and the Alex building that you have to go through before school starts, which has quickly proved to be an extremely inefficient way of security....
