New principal as of 2018-2019. Awesome experience all the way around, school is caring, parents are involved, and the teachers are really amazing at pushing the kids (in ways they enjoy) towards exploring things deeper than the typical curriculum - reading challenge, science fair from even kindergarten, etc.

South School is a great community. The teachers are really great, the parents are really involved. Principal Jane Fletcher is a gem. She is a real Southern lady and has a gentle but very firm way of keeping everyone in line.
