My experience in South Houston High School was overall, not bad, the teachers I had were incredibly kind and helpful towards me. The one negative thing is that there was an alarming outbreak of school fights on the main campus.

South Houston High School is a great school. We have tons of school spirit, scholars, and sports. I speaking from experience can say that South Houston is a great school to attend for sports and academics overall.

One of the best parts of south Houston high school is the people and community. Everyone is nice to meet and everyone is usually friendly. You can make friends with people pretty quickly. Some of the teachers are alright but for the most part they are rough. One of the worst parts of the school is the budget. There are a lot of issues with building so I would like for there to be funding for the school

Do not take a job at this school for any reason! The administrators are terrible! There is no discipline and the kids do whatever they want. There are multiple fights every day. Teachers are cussed out every day.

This school's a.p. staff are terrible. If they do not like a student on a personal level, yes they brig personal feelings into play. Lame, the principals are rude,some teachers don't want to stay after school and help the student, in class when asking for help the get upset and say we were not "paying attention" when they really suck at teaching sometimes. If they do try to help your even more confused than you were before.

I attended this school over a decade ago and it was fairly decent. The education was up to par. Older siblings attended over two decades ago and it was even better then.
