Never had any issues with any teacher or problems with my education here. Teachers do what's expected of them and help all students in need.

I would like to say you're freshman year will be your best year. I did lack a bit my freshman year & i do feel so bad now that i look back, but it was fun until they took us out for quarantining / covid-19 , but let's not talk about that. South Lake High School has some fun activities & fun academics classes that i had & participated in. Biology had to be by far my best class i took. We did experiments & i learned a lot about DNA & so on more. I think i liked that class the most because i understand science/biology more than any other subject. I'm not going to talk about my sophomore year because i was online. Moving towards my end of junior year, its been a long year dealing with keeping & pushing so hard to keep my grades up. I've been through so much this year & you'll see why they say you're freshman & junior your most important & hardest year. I participated in this program called C2 pipeline & they talk about colleges with me.

It saddens me to see the decline at this school while others in the area have continued to grow and attract families. How and why it all went wrong is hard to say, since the other schools also have school of choice. Perhaps part of it starts with what is or is not allowed and how strict other school...

My son has been at SLHS for the last 3 years last year was a good year Ms. Kennedy was great and students seemed to respect her. This year my son who loved school was always early and in a great mood everyday now hates school and doesn't want to go daily. He says and has recorded students in class t...

As a former employee of South Lake Schools, I can assure you that all of the negative reviews of the current administration is very true. The administration made an average of $100,000 (+) a year. The teachers union worked hand-in-hand with administrators to create a united front to the community---...

The issue isn't merely school of choice it is that the teachers/administrators do not know how to deal with the diversity at this school. It's "ok" for certain students to use the "N" word and refer to other students as "crackers" and the adults who hear it do nothing about it, unacceptable. Be prep...
