South Lyon High School is very exclusive and gives many academic opportunities and challenges that prepare you for your future. There are many clubs and sports teams that make the school feel like a home.

Honestly it was an overall good experience with a few things that were a bit weird. We had an autism awareness month and they used outdated form of celebration. A lot of the teachers would grade based on how they liked the student but otherwise it was a well rounded school.

South Lyon High School is one of the best high schools in Oakland County, Michigan. When I joined as a freshman in South Lyon High School I knew that I was stepping in the right direction. Amazing & dedicated teachers, fantastic friends, great football team, other sports, opportunities for volunteering, Key Club, National Honor Society, Outstanding Olympiads etc. My high school needs a robotic lab.

Wonderful school system with caring teachers and lots of opportunity. South Lyon offers many sports, activities and AP classes to round out a full educational experience.

The school system here is illogical and sad. The school is politically incorrect, unfocused, and dirty. I can begin to explain the various reasons My child will no longer attend this school.

My shy, unsure of himself Freshman LOVES this school. He has made several friends, is participating in class, clubs, and functions. Well above average high school. Offerings of AP classes provide student opportunities to prepare for university study. Both children were accepted to all colleges of choice (including U of Mich).
