The school does many activities that include every student. When wanting to speaking to administrators or cap advisor you can always guarantee that you will either by appointment or walk in.

As the Alma Mater says, the "hope and pride" of South Miami Senior opened its doors to students for the first time on November 10, 1971. The original student body selected the Cobra mascot and the school colors of orange, brown, and white. Today the Cobra mascot reigns from the third story roof of Cobra Hall, greeting all who pass by "Cobra Country" on Miller Road.

I had a great 4 years, I always felt supported by my teachers, counselors and staff. The school has great magnet programs, and choice programs as well!! My problem was the AC was a lot of times broken in one building, the bathrooms have a lot of toilet seats closed, and it's not as clean as I'd wish either. The pandemic made it cleaner

Seeing as how there hasn't been a recent review, I felt it was time for a current, relevant review of SMSH! Our child started this year in a magnet program as a 9th grader. After careful consideration, this was the school they chose out of the 5 they were accepted to. During the magnet process, SMSH...

Ever since Bonce got there he made the place a prison. It is no longer a school, I dropped out in 2008 because I hated every minute of it. Specially the administration, faculty and staff. They are all very disrespectful to the students. I have been able to graduate college and I am currently working...

I think South Miami High has offered a better education than my previous private school. Like any school, there are great teachers, good teachers, and those that you wish you did not have to deal with. Overall, I have to say that this is a good school to attend.
