There are plenty of teachers who are enjoy teaching and are good at it. However there are also plenty who seem too comfortable/ do not seem to care

The best part about South Side is their ability to prepare the students for college as they seem to have a curriculum and teacher roster that helps them get ready for college. The worst part of the experience is the lack of space and facilities for the students as they are limited in offering more outdoor activities.

This is an overall pretty good high school, of course like every place, it has its ups and downs but in the end I enjoyed my time here. I would recommend this institution to others, especially because of the IB program here. The teachers are all mostly helpful and will do almost anything to help you get ahead.

Speaking as a former student, SSHS prepared me well for college and beyond and I was surprised to only see 7/10. One issue I have with this review is the AP test participation and pass rate. South Side offers and emphasizes IB courses (the international equivalent of AP) and only a limited selection...
