It was alright, but I wish that we would spend less money on athletics and more just general repairs around the school. Maybe something other than chipped cream paint on the walls.

I like the fact that we have a lot of college courses offered to us. I wish that we had more than one foreign language option. I also wish that foreign language wasn't a requirement of getting an academic honors diploma. I had a hard time catching on to Spanish and, therefore, will not be able to receive an honors diploma even though my grades are good and I took several honors classes. This is a state requirement and not reflected of my school, but it's frustrating nonetheless.

The teachers are either good or they just want a check from the school. They do NOT care about the students they are just a number to them. This year the school got a grant and any kid that was unrolling, they begged for them to stay do to the money they were receiving. I have had multiple incidents with bullying and guidance counselors and the schools leaders turn away from it do to who the bullies are.

4/10 Because administration cared more about higher income families. (Last names were important.)

I would seriously consider other options before moving into the area and enrolling your student in this school. Their attention is more geared toward keeping the masses in line, than actually educating the students. A three rating out of ten says it all.

This is a good school overall. There are some areas that are more prevalent than others, which is determined by faculty and funding. I graduated and went on to study education at a small private university that prides itself with high academic expectations. The teachers definitely prepared me to mak...

My daughter is a transfer student. This is her junior year. She loves OVHS. All of the kids, teachers, coaching staff, & administration welcomed her. I am so glad to see her enjoying school. From a parent, 'thank you so much.'
