GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Overall I think that Spencerville High school is a good school. It's in a small town so it's easy to learn all of your classmates' names. The downside to the school is that it is very fixated on sports. The school funding tends to only be directed to our sports programs and they neglect the arts and music programs. However, besides the funding issues, I would say that Spencerville high school is a great school,

Spencerville High School has a very active and caring environment. The teachers strive to help their students succeed and the faculty works day and night to make sure that the students are in a healthy and safe environment. I couldn't be more proud to soon call Spencerville High School my alumni after graduation. The school has prepared me for my future and has help me pursue my dreams.

most clubs take place before school or during the lunch hour, except music and sports, which are after school. at times it can be hard to get teacher involvement for clubs, but students persevere. there is a small variety including art club, spanish club, NHS, fellowship or christian athletes, FCCLA, FFA, and then a variety of music and sports groups

To The Only Parent Writing A Review As of This Time: Sadly, I agree with you, & I support you & I'm so sorry for what you & your child/ren have to endure. This site is such a disappointment {although not surprising} that one writing a review is being held in a choke-hold of censorship, "conditions",...

The high school rating, 5 out of possible 10 doesn't begin to cast light on the degree of mediocrity present here. Bullying against new students or those with any form of learning disability is rampant. Several have withdrawn in favor of online schools rather than be subjected to the further insult...

I've found that throughout my years at Spencerville, the entire atmosphere is just great. The teachers are very caring and the students are over-all well behaved. Being a small school, it's great to have a staff who will reach out to each individual. I've really noticed how much of a family our scho...
