Completely going down hill. After many years, So many loyal families/parents are taking their kids out most definitely after this school year. We all gave it one last chance and regret it. After new staffing, the goals and missions of the school have completely lacked. It seems they put just anyone to teach.

As a student of over 6 years, I can testify that West Hernando Christian is an excellent private Christian school. Although I've ran into a few issues and a bad teacher here and there, some of the teachers and curriculum have influenced me enough I still believe it deserves a five star rating.

It's a very small school so everyone knows each other well. Some of the teachers don't seem very qualified to teach, and I as a student have found myself correcting one of my teachers almost daily. This school really is growing. I don't know why I choose to stay, but I think it's the faculty and students that grow on you. The teachers do seem to genuinely care about me and what I want to do with my life. However, this school seems focused solely on theology. Even though it's a Christian school, we need to learn more about evolution to prep ourselves. Every subject is viewed one hundred percent in a Christian perspective. We do have a new younger principal and he seems to get us more.

My son has been attending WHCS for 3 years and we feel that it is absolutely meeting his needs both academically and spiritually. The children there are like one big family and they hold morals in high standard.

I am very thankful for West Hernando Christian school. My three children get the opportunity to pray everyday at school, participate in a weekly chapel service, and say the pledge every morning.
