GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Spring Valley High School is overall a pretty good school. There are some great teachers and staff members, and dome not so good ones too. Overall I've learned a lot at that school and have had a great time doing it. The food is terrible though.

The teachers at this school know the students on a personal level, which allows them to teach in ways that benefit the students and allow them to reach full potential. All teachers are available outside the classroom and create a positive environment, both in the classroom and in the community.

I felt fairly prepared for the real world after attending Spring Valley High. The staff are involved in your work. The teachers sometimes would show care about your day. Though the teachers usually gave you enough homework to show you how college would be. They did try to prepare me for college by offering AP English, AP Calc, Anatomy, Organic Chemistry and other challenging courses.
