Effingham county has overall been a great experience for me. Learning has become easy and I feel safe.

As a student at ECHS, I had a very traditional, yet highly successful academic career that prepared me for college. I have found a lot of friends, extracurriculars, opportunities and had a wonderful experience with administration and the facilities. This school was an amazing and important part of my journey through life and it prepared me for my future.

Effingham is your average American high school. A lot of emphasis is placed on sports rather than academics, and its teachers don't really try to help struggling students, nor reward those who excel. The student body is pretty diverse but a lot of them are still close-minded. I'd say overall it's okay but it's not top of the list in terms of Georgia Schools.

They are too worried about things that shouldn’t matter instead of children’s education and safety. instead of being more concerned about the violent fights ,we are fighting over the color...

I had recently moved to florida not to long ago so my daughter can feel a little more comfortable and welcomed. She always complai...

As someone who grew up in this county I'm sad to see how bad this school is now. My kid goes there now and we are only looking forward to the day they get out. Some of the teachers are really good, but the administration is more focused on dress codes that make no difference to education they have n...
