As a recent graduate, I would say my experience in SHS is average. I guess it really just depends on the courses one would take in that school. One of my best experience there was being a part of a class/club for four years straight. It was just a new class, originally a club but I took it as a class in high school. I would say that the class grew as I grew too, it was the same grade as I was, a freshman. so were the amount of students in that class. the class was one of my best decisions to make, because your get to be involved in a lot of creative projects to help the community in Springfield.

Springfield High School offers a lot of academic choices, but I really wish one of those options was home economics. I've enjoyed my school career at this high school. The teachers and staff are awesome, and the students are very open and accepting.

Sports are fun and always have a lot of people show up to all of them. Music and theater also have big crowds often selling out. The school is safe, and the teachers for the most part are nice. The bathrooms however are gross and should be built better. I've had fun these last 4 years during my high school years it's a good diverse community and has a good education system.

My child has been back to school for 1 week and is experiencing bullying. Luckily he has an AMAZING teacher who will not put ip with it and handles it very well. While it's only ben this 1 kid doing it, I would hope the fact the kid has a history of it would make them realize this kid is troubled.

I attended Springfield High School all four years and graduated on time. My Senior year I had to take an independent study writing class because the school literally didn't have any writing classes left that I could take. My counselor told me they expected me to fail at least once.

There are 1500 students at this school. It is impossible for the teachers and administrators to keep on top of all of them. That means that students need to learn to speak up, and parents/guardians need to ask a lot of questions. I did a lot of assuming that it was the school's job to teach my kids...

I've never felt so much of a need to not wake up in the morning. I am a grade A student who has already gotten accepted to college, this school has all but made me lose hope in my academic studies and the hope I had is all but lost. I would HIGHLY recommend not going to this lazy excuse of a school....
