SHL is a good school, an average School of accademic performance. The School has a good and fair facility resources. But they really need to work on their academy performances, train and develop standard teachers.... Also, they don't support racism, but they need to improve on helping, welcoming and accepting international Students who has good accedemic performances. Thank you.

I think the school teachers, the special ed teachers are great but the school looks terrible and most of the kids who go here are terrible and a lot of the parents don't do anything to try to help and break rules too. The school is too big. It is like a highschool and there are a lot of outside tray...

This school, indeed all PG county schools rate a failing grade in student motivation. They do not allow participation in Take A Child To Work Day, but rather schedule standardized testing for the past 2 years on this day which has been the same day for the past two decades.
