It's been fun the staff here are really friendly and make sure that you get what you need even with are minimum budget. I feel like the school makes it a priority to put diversity and the students first we don't have a big budget which is the biggest downside but in turn we get teachers who know a lot of students and care about how they progress academically.

I feel like Merit Academy is an overall good high school to attend. The environment is a very positive one and I feel like the staff is also very helpful and understanding with what the kids go through and are very good listeners. I like that because its such a small school, that everyone can do everything. There is not one person at our school who does just one thing. We have students who play basketball as well are in jazz band and dance company and theater. I think that is absolutely amazing thing that everyone has the opportunity to do that. There's nothing that I don't particularly don't like about our school but if there was something I could change about our school, I think I would advertise more so that we could make a new theater room so that the theater kids and all the athletes don't have to fight over the gym. Overall I'd say my 4 years at Merit have been eventful and I wouldn't change a thing.

My first year here has been better than previous schools, but a lot of things could improve, like the way some teachers teach lessons. Not everyone learns the same and that needs to be realized.

I had a terrible experience at this school. It has been the greatest mistake to my eduacation to join this school. This school is inferior to public schools with regards to resources and consistent education. This school shows why structure is needed. DO NOT JOIN THIS SCHOOL IF YOU VALUE YOUR EDUCAT...

They’re racist, and don’t even hire teachers… they’re literally they’re student after they graduate high school with no higher education.

It was a good school because of the teachers, but because of not having donations, the best math teacher left, and this year 4 more teachers are leaving and the only perfect principal has left
