Stamford High School has been a great experience for me. It's a very big school, but it still feels like a small community. Most teachers want you to succeed and are willing to go the extra mile to ensure that you do. I am academically challenged, can play the sports that I enjoy, and can be as involved as I want with so many different clubs. I would like to see the food improve and would prefer that classes start later, but overall, I am happy at Stamford High.

Stamford high school is trying their best but due to under staffing. My dad graduated year ago and is not the same school it used to be. Guidance counselor are over load with school. The diversity group are not welcome and cater to only one group of select students. Many of the students feel there is no future for them. From staff members who are over work to teachers overwhelmed.

The school itself need a lot of growth to do, and a lot of reconstruction to do, there so many broken things in the school. From toilette seats and missing toilets. The food is mid it gave me good poisoning once. It's very rare for the food to be slight Good. And as for the school safety we had so many lockdowns last year to the point half of us got used to it. The school stairs is hell on earth. Overall it's an okay school not too bad

Guidance counselor never helped I didn’t graduate with my class because they messed up my credits I had to attend summer school and they pulled me out because they noticed the mess up they robbed me of my graduation experience. Fights constantly in the school. The teachers did not respect students....

SHS is a good school with very good teachers. It's sad that it has such a low rating on this website. They are a very diverse population, and that is not a negative thing.

Shs is a really good school if you take advantage of what it has to offer. The problem is, several people don't and that's why the school gets a "bad" reputation in some ways. This school has it's issues just like any other school but some of the negative publicity it gets is really blown way out of...
