GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My high school is located in a small town. It is great because everyone knows everyone. Our school has a great staff and the teachers are very friendly.

The academics are great, but parts of the school building are over 100 years old, the student parking lot isn't the best, we have to be in one building that teaches pre-school through seniors, and the lunch is disgusting and you only have one option to eat, and we aren't the best at sports.

We are together with another schools for sports, so when we have to practice after school we either have to go there or they come here which makes practice time longer. So for people who live in North Platte its a long drive and night for them.
