A great high school even though it is portrayed as ghetto. The staff does a great job at keeping students safe. And the staff are super friendly. Lots of opportunities at this school for all kids, I am a member of the new ptech program it was a good experience. They try and make sure everyone leaves the school employed, enlisted or enrolled as a part of their three E program.

My 4 years there have been so amazing . Between the teachers I've met that helped me through the whole school year , to the fiends I met , and the school activites that gave me all those amazing memories. Without port there's a lot things I wouldn't have done in life I am doing currently . I Owen a big Hank's to the chill because it got me more Involved and open more . The school really cares for there students when it comes to any and everything . I could keep going on and on but that would be a book . I'll forever be a radoer and be in debt for the amount of stuff they have done for me.

Dont blame the school if your child is not a good student or you are not doing proper parenting at home and making them be on task and accountable for thier education! Don't go on the ratings of this school, this is a HIDDEN GEM. As long as your child is in a program, studies and apply themselves, t...

We recently relocated to Staten Island. We were glad my son kept pace during remote learning. The teachers were great and highlighted areas to focus on so that he can improve. The counselor was very helpful to help set up the program to match his level and interest. We were surprised by the many opt...

For some reason, this school has a bad reputation amongst the Staten Island community, which I really don't understand why. I will say that this is a really great school. Their staff goes above and beyond to help the students achieve their academic goals. They have all sorts of activities available...

This school is Staten Island's best kept secret! My daughter is now a sophmore. Teachers & Leadership are fabulous. Staff goes out of the way to help students achieve their academic goals. The principal, Timothy Gannon, sets the positive tone of communications with families, genuine caring for the s...
