The educators at Staunton High School take pride in the teaching of every student that walks through the doors. That being said, the environment is not 'top-notch' compared to other area schools due to the age of the building and resources within. All in all, Staunton High School is a great place to have spent my last three years of high school. I am looking forward to completing my last year here.

This school would be okay if it had more money. However, the building is awful. It has mold, asbestos, bugs, and everything else horrible that students shouldn't be around. The community is not open-minded or accepting whatsoever. There are no repercussions for the terrible things some students and faculty do. All of the classrooms in the high school building are over 100 years old and they haven't been updated in at least 50, if ever. I don't think the faculty is paid enough to care about individual people or their needs. I wish I could say good things about this place, but there aren't any. I wish I was being dramatic.

As a student at Staunton High School, overall, I had a very good experience. Staunton is home to many great sports teams and fans that go along with them. My time spent at Staunton was memorable, exciting, educational, and most of all enjoyable. However, with all these positives, there are a couple of things I would change about Staunton. As a whole, the school is dated and old. The school could use updated sports equipment. All in all, my outlook on Staunton High would be rated a 4/5.
