The students and teachers are very polite with each other. It's a respectful group of teachers and students. I was able to take multiple dual credits while there. But the down side of the school was very run downed and in some spots the floor is actually spreading. There are no elevators making it very hard to travel up and down the stairs when injured.

The cons are that classes aren't weighted. My son has taken several dual credit classes and those are weighted the same as industrial classes. A welding A- has lost my son his 4.0 standing. Also they rely heavily on social media for information and I don't have time to be on that all night. Pros include a small town, knowing most of the teachers and students. My son is a multi-sport athlete and the town shows a lot of support to the athletes.

As a student at Staunton High School, overall, I had a very good experience. Staunton is home to many great sports teams and fans that go along with them. My time spent at Staunton was memorable, exciting, educational, and most of all enjoyable. However, with all these positives, there are a couple of things I would change about Staunton. As a whole, the school is dated and old. The school could use updated sports equipment. All in all, my outlook on Staunton High would be rated a 4/5.
