GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I enjoyed having classes every other day, it gave more time in class to work and to learn. The staff was kind and open to helping anyone regardless if they are a student of theirs or not. The thing I'd like to see improve is the freedom of schedule choosing without being pressured into classes that aren't required.

Steamboat Springs High School is a place with lots of clubs for students to explore. The academic opportunities are great, especially with a community college less than 15 blocks away. I wish teachers and administration would put more energy towards their correspondence with students. I have trouble getting teachers and administration to answer my emails at all. Meanwhile, they ask students to answer them with in 24 hours.
