GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

It's an amazing school. The teachers are great and very kind, they always try to help you whenever you need it and the classes are great.

I graduated from what is now called Kidder County Steele High School in 2015. Some of the things that I liked at this school were how friendly the teachers and students were to everyone else. People would go out of their way to how your day was going. One of the things I didn't like about the school was the cafeteria food. I understand that the lunch program has restriction on what it can serve, but we had the same meals three of the five days of the week.

After school extracurriculars would include sports, swing choir, yearbook, drama, and pep club. The most popular would be sports and swing choir. I think that we could use more extracurricular activities but these organizations are pretty popular.
