GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I was a parochial school student. Do to continuing increases of costs my parents made the decision to enroll my siblings and myself in public school. At first I was unsure. Now. It's truly the best decision ever. The administration and teaching staff are truly amazing. The diversity and different outlook has allowed me to grow beyond belief. I highly recommend Steelton Highspire Highschool

I would like to see a improvement in the classes that are offered. The addition of classes that prepare students to live in the real world are essential; but, available in a limited amount at the school currently.

They do not protect students from bullying, and they do not say that it really happens within the school and the students They’re not safe to them

The school is solid and underrated. The school is effective if you make it effective, and it also comes down to the people that you hang out with.
