E O Smith was a very good school and supported student's academic careers. One thing the school could improve on is the separation and favoritism between honors students and students who need a little more help.

Great opportunities with dual enroll credits and opportunities to take on-campus classes at the University of Connecticut because of the walking proximity
4.0 Junior

The academic freedom between many electives, AP, and ECE courses available makes building a future path significantly easier. Additionally there is opportunities to take on-campus UCONN courses. Academic opportunity is the #1 best factor about E. O. Smith. Between that and outstanding teachers, students are without a doubt better prepared for a college environment.

There was and is nothing good about EOS. I was told by a guidance counselor my sophomore year that I would probably not graduate high school, let alone go to community college. From that point I was excluded from ECE and AP classes and even removed from my honors classes. I was excluded from classes...

The only good thing about E.O. is the plethora of ECE courses made available to students. Other than that, not much else seems to work. While the ECE courses may help students get a headstart on college, the guidance department is completely useless and doesn't help seniors with the application proc...

My son is a senior this year and has been dealing with being on the spectrum his whole life. The school has been non-communicative with us, and when his grad...
