GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I had grown up with the same 80 kids (plus or minus a few) for all of my childhood, into my teenage years. I really enjoyed 6 and 7th grade, good teachers, and good kids. One day, we had an assembly on bullying and all the kids kept saying things like "Oh, bullying doesn't happen here, we all know eachother too well, we all love each other!", and for a while I believed it. But I learned that there are different types of bullying, and I had seen some and not realized what it was. As soon as 8th grade started my friends all turned against me (except 1). They ganged up on me, made me feel horrible about myself, and then would laugh it off as if it was a joke, but it wasn't to me. They would all hang out or exclude me, make fun of me, talk about the fun they had w/out me. They did this infront of teachers, in front of other students, and in front of me. It was obvious, but the teachers turned blind eyes. I have since left the district and am SO HAPPY where I am. Also 0 diversity, FYI.

The education system is fantastic, with teachers that always keep the parents in touch with what's going on. I've never seen such great groups of teachers! They're helpful, kind an...
