Serving just over 360 students in preschool through eighth grade, Holy Family School is the only Catholic grade school in the city of Stow. The school is affiliated with Holy Family Parish, the Catholic church sharing its Kent Road campus.
Students at Holy Family receive religious education following the guidelines of the Cleveland Diocese as well as traditional education in compliance with all state requirements. Special programs include Advanced Placement (AP) math, Spanish instruction, ceramics, and science courses in a dedicated science lab. Students also take religion courses and participate in weekly liturgy.
In addition to academics, Holy Family offers an assortment of extracurricular activities to students, including CYO sports, choir, band, drama, student council, and various clubs. The state-of-the-art campus features 30 classrooms, a computer lab, a science lab, a full-court gymnasium, a library, and a stage for music and theater productions.
Holy Family ranks high in academic performance and earned the U.S. Department of Education’s National Blue Ribbon School recognition in 2012.
