I have been going to Hillcrest my entire life, and I love everything about it except for one thing: the rules they choose to enforce. The dress code is sexist against females, but they only really call out the females who aren't related to someone who works at the school. Also, when sexual harrasment occurs, they don't really do much about it. Other than that, I love the small atmosphere of the school with the teacher to student ratio.

My three kids have went to the school for two years now. They have been bullied by other kids yet the principal and supt never do anything about it, yet when my kids stand up for themselves they get in trouble. This school works on the "good ol boy" system, if you've got a big name you've got it mad...

If your child is involved in basketball, then this is the school for you. Otherwise, nobody gives a hoot. Sports is the focus and the accomplishments of students who are not in sports or another special program are barely acknowledged. There is virtually no communication from the school to the paren...

I moved my kids to Hillcrest from a larger school. My boys have more attention from the teachers and administration. They are able to participate in a wide variety of activities. And they are building great relationships with other students. Proud to be a Screamin' Eagle family. -- M Powell
