GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I gave it a 3 because I feel that Strongsville puts a lot of pressure on students. They give us a lot of work and expect so much and it's very hard to go to school, come home and do more school, and have a job. On top of that having free time. I remember in middle school when I didn't have a job I would be up all night doing homework not even having any free time to be a kid. I do understand why they push us to be the best all the time though, and I feel like this could be a good opportunity for other kids. A lot of the people in Strongsville can be very rude too. Especially being African American growing up here can be very hard since it is predominantly white. Overall it isn't a very bad school but it could be better.

I have really enjoyed the 4 years I have been attending at Strongsville High School. Every year has been amazing and I have always had very good experiences with the school. Even during the year covid was a around, everything was well maintained for the students and made sure everything was good for us. I have also played varsity soccer for the school all 4 years and it was one of the best choices of my life. I have made friends and bonds that will never break.

It is probably one of the better high schools in the area, most of the teachers care for their students. Most of the students care for their future. It is one of the more safer schools as threats are dealt with immediately and the schools condition is cared for by the staff.

When I was a student 7 years ago, I would totally agree with the 9/10 rating. But based on the disgusting actions of the teachers during the recent strike, I would say the place is a 0/10. I looked at Chicago last year and thought to myself, "That would never happen in Strongsville. Our community is...

I pulled my son out after 1 semester in the 9th grade. He was an B student at middle schI ool, then when moved to the high school...
