GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Majority of the staff for the honors or advanced level classes are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Other teachers are not quite there. Dress code is a major annoyance with certain teachers to the point it can be distracting to the class time when all they do is call you out for dress code violations.

The academics are challenging and the teachers are passionate about their subject matters. The workload can be intense at the higher level classes, but that is to be expected and necessary.

The school is limited in that it only encompasses two grades, one of which is considered a high school level grade. However, the teachers are wonderful, the building is nice and well-kept, and the overall environment is safe. The level of parental involvement closely shadows the tone of the area. There are some very involved parents and others who are simply absent.

It was also caught on cameras, and you could see me not saying anything when they called me stuff on the bus and it went on my record as a...

My sons have graduated this school and moved up to the high school. The middle school and high school have been safer with less bullying and physical fights. The administration here lacks a backbone and the same one has been around a long time. It’s difficult unless your kids are literally “physical...

I moved to PA from New York City to escape going to a rather poor school. After going here for not even a full school year, I wish I would have stayed in NY. Where to start. The teachers. Out of the eight teachers I have met, 1 has actually fulfilled the school's so-called promise. ONE. He's not inc...
